NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber), also known as Buna-N or Buna-M, is theNitrile (NBR / Buna-N, Buna-M) O-rings for general industrial sealing. Reliable for mineral oils, hydraulic fluids, fuels, water and air. Typical range: –30°C…+120°C (depending on compound). Stock in Riga.
NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber), also known as Buna-N or Buna-M, is the most common O-ring elastomer due to its strong balance of oil resistance, mechanical performance and cost efficiency.
NBR O-rings provide reliable static and dynamic sealing in contact with mineral oils, greases, fuels, water and compressed air. Typical applications include hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, valves, fittings and automotive components.
Advantages:
• Excellent resistance to oils and fuels.
• Good mechanical strength and abrasion resistance.
• Broad availability of standard sizes and strong cost/performance ratio.
Limitations:
• Not suitable for long-term ozone/UV/weather exposure.
• Not recommended for many polar solvents, ketones and glycol-based brake fluids.
Selection: standard sizes per AS568, ISO 3601 and DIN. We support selection by dimensions, marking, sample or (where applicable) IMPA Catalogue code.
